About the Job

Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is dedicated to delivering high-quality interventions to young people in crisis. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing therapeutic approaches to support young people and their families.

You will work closely with senior clinicians and managers to support the delivery of timely and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This may involve conducting specialist assessments, developing and delivering therapeutic interventions, and providing consultation and training to external professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading clinical practice within your local area
  • Overseeing case formulations and providing clinical supervision to junior team members
  • Contributing to service development across Essex, Southend, and Thurrock
