You should be passionate about developing people and delivering outstanding experiences to guests by nurturing, training, and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment. You'll drive standards and lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards and Butlin's way of working.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll thrive in a busy environment and drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. You'll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards while being guest-obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do.
The role involves analysing KPIs and stock control systems to maximise gross profit margins and adhering to food safety and health & safety policies. You should be an advocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring regular 121s and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's.
As with all roles at Butlin's, no day will be the same, and you'll need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We're looking for an individual with prior experience in a food & beverage environment, with strong experience of being guest and customer-facing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly. You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121s and coaching. Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of this role, so you should be passionate about every interaction and seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.
You should have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes, experience in working with multi-skilled teams to support other areas of the business based on guest demand. You should be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, including proficiency in managing performance, coaching teams, delivering team training, setting standards, and role modelling this behaviour, problem-solving & feedback, and managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing requirements.
