Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Hotel Operations Manager with monitoring budget and controlling labour costs and expenses.
  • Work closely with the F&B team to increase revenue, focusing on non-resident guests and upselling at the restaurant and bar.
  • Develop plans to increase F&B revenue, aiming to increase walk-ins and upselling opportunities.
  • Assist with day-to-day staffing requirements, planning, and assigning work, as well as establishing performance and development goals for team members.
  • Ensure front-of-house staff provide guests with prompt service, professional attention, and personal recognition.
  • Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and interact effectively with guests.
  • Manage the 24-hour cover of the Food and Beverage Area, including sourcing or providing emergency cover.
