Role Overview:

Purpose:

This role is designed to support young individuals in overcoming learning barriers and acquiring essential skills. The Additional Services Provision at HMYOI Feltham includes Horticulture, Cadets training, Barista training, and Music. Your expertise will help shape these provisions to meet the evolving needs of our young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum Grade A-C GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience working with young people and related issues.
  • Awareness of and commitment to promoting equal opportunities and recognizing diversity.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team and with colleagues.

Location and Working Hours:

Based at Her Majesty's Young Offenders Institute (HMYOI) Feltham.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 4:45pm (including a 45-minute lunch break).

Friday: 8:00am to 13:30pm.
