Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of social workers who carry a caseload of up to 3 families, prioritizing long-term support and ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and reports within tight deadlines, utilizing expertise in specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks.
- Chair meetings and maintain positive relationships with involved professionals and agencies, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Lead specific parenting programs, developing and implementing effective strategies to support families.
- Provide statements and court evidence when necessary, demonstrating confidence and expertise.
- Handle referrals and facilitate placement planning meetings, ensuring seamless transitions and positive outcomes.
- Work towards achieving and sustaining positive outcomes for children and families in their communities, aligning with National Standards and Regulations.
- Fulfill statutory duties, possessing a solid understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Holds a degree or equivalent in social work, with a strong foundation in relevant legislation and regulations.
- Ideal experience in managing or supervising social workers, with a proven track record of success.
- Maintains current SWE registration, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and skills.
- Demonstrates expertise in specialist PAM's assessments and psychodynamic frameworks, as well as proficiency in parenting programs and safeguarding practices.
