We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Coventry at the Manufacturing Technology Centre.

Job Description:

This role involves producing demonstrable evidence in a QC graded structure, including 100% oversight and inspection.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead internal audits and participate in external audits.
  2. Provide resolution to internal and external quality issues through effective root cause analysis and the development of action plans with relevant stakeholders.
  3. Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies.
  4. Perform output testing, analysis, and inspection to identify defects and improve quality management systems.
Person SpecificationEssential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
  1. Knowledge of Quality Management and the effective adoption of ISO 9001 & AS9100 is necessary.
  2. Understanding of customer journey and experience is required.
  3. Good numeracy skills: confident working with numbers and data.
  4. Excellent presentation skills.
  5. Auditing best practice.

As a Quality Control Specialist at Manufacturing Technology Centre, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic R+D environment, collaborating with process owners to identify areas for process improvement, creating and maintaining documentation related to quality control processes and results in line with MTC and customer specific requirements. Estimated salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
