Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the new homes and affordable housing sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled New Homes Sector Analyst to join our team and contribute to our mission of making housing more accessible and attainable.

About the Role:

In this pivotal position, you'll be responsible for conducting market research, analysing buyer behaviour, and providing actionable insights to support sales teams. Your focus will include the new homes sector, where your deep knowledge of buyer demographics, housing policies, and regional market shifts will be key in driving success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis, specifically tailored to the new homes sector
  • Analyse buyer behaviour, price trends, and demographic data to support sales strategies and decision-making
  • Provide actionable insights to guide pricing models, positioning, and product offerings
  • Regularly report on local and national housing policies, market dynamics, and emerging trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to inform campaigns and outreach efforts
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of market research experience in the new homes or property sector
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, with experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of new homes policies, regional demand trends, and buyer demographics
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear, actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, analytical mindset and a passion for making housing more accessible and attainable
What We Offer:
  • Up to £49,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm work schedule
  • 1 day remote work per week
