About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Physician to provide high-quality care to our patients with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. As a key member of our gastroenterology team, you will be responsible for leading specialist IBD clinics, performing endoscopies, and contributing to the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Manage IBD clinics, overseeing patient care from initial consultation to ongoing management.
  • Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Perform endoscopies, with a focus on IBD diagnosis and bowel cancer surveillance, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
  • Education and Training: Participate in the IBD MDT, educate junior staff, and contribute to the development of evidence-based guidelines.
  • Patient Safety and Quality: Ensure high-quality care by adhering to national guidelines, best practices, and local policies.
