Geography Teacher Position Available

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Geography Teacher to join our team at a thriving secondary school in the Avonmouth area. As a key member of our humanities team, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum, developing engaging lesson plans, and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach Geography lessons to students aged 11-16
  2. Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve departmental policies and practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS or ECT status
  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you can expect:
