Position: Retail Operations Manager

In the role of Retail Operations Manager, your primary objective will be to enhance sales performance, optimize store profitability, and provide exceptional service in a retail environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the store team, surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs), upholding company standards, and representing JD Sports with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

  • Foster customer loyalty through exemplary service
  • Address customer inquiries, manage complaints, and resolve issues efficiently
  • Ensure the team maintains high service standards
  • Leverage Customer Satisfaction surveys and Net Promoter Score for insights

Sales Management:

  • Meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Analyze sales reports to inform strategic decisions
  • Effectively utilize in-store technology
  • Monitor performance metrics using the store's dashboard

Visual Presentation:

  • Implement weekly visual merchandising standards to create an appealing store environment
  • Use visual strategies to attract customers and boost sales
  • Ensure new and promotional products are prominently displayed
  • Keep displays updated in accordance with guidelines

Team Development:

  • Cultivate team members and support career advancement
  • Conduct regular training sessions and evaluate performance standards
  • Track employee development and completion of training assessments
  • Focus on management training and development programs

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience in Retail Management is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
