About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our client's team. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production processes, maintaining equipment, and implementing safety protocols. Your electrical and mechanical skills will be essential in identifying and resolving technical issues, and your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be crucial in achieving our client's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Identify and control spare stock holding and procurement to optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and implement improvement ideas for production equipment and facilities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor and report on site performance and KPIs to support the achievement of targets.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Modern Apprenticeship training or equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Relevant engineering qualification, such as a degree, HND, HNC, OND, ONC, or BTEC 4 or 3 NVQ level 3 or above.
  • 18th edition wiring regulation, City & Guilds 236/2360 parts 1, 2, and C (electrical installation or similar).
  • Completed authorized or competent persons training.
  • Technically competent to safely operate, make safe, and test systems or installations.
  • IT literate and proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems.
