About the Role

We are seeking a Cred Supervisor to join our team at HMP Rochester, a Male prison. As a Cred Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues in a supportive and driven family environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage small scale refurbishments and projects, ensuring safe and efficient completion.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to manage relationships and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Utilize trade or building qualifications, such as carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing or electrics, to complete tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • Understanding of prisons and prisoner working systems, or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of working safely and applying health and safety principles in practice.
  • Experience in managing small scale refurbishments and projects, as well as supervising staff.
  • Self-motivated with a positive 'can do' approach to work.
