Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a pipeline of Buy to Let Mortgage loan cases and prioritizing accordingly. They will underwrite BTL loan applications within company lending criteria by making quality lending decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of BTL Mortgage loan cases and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Underwrite BTL loan applications within company lending criteria by making informed lending decisions.
  • Ensure high levels of communication with stakeholders, including brokers, applicants, surveyors, and solicitors.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards with internal and external parties.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, compliance, finance, and collections.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Monitor loan performance post-completion and follow up on any outstanding conditions prior to handing over to collections.
  • Stay up-to-date with current best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in underwriting BTL products is highly desirable.
  • The role is based in an office environment and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
