The Role

As a Trainee Manager, you'll embark on a 12-month development programme that will give you a detailed understanding and experience of all operational, service, and leadership standards expected to become a future Majestic Store Manager. You'll work closely with your Store Manager to develop your skills and knowledge, and you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of key responsibilities, including:

  • Driving store performance by maximising sales opportunities and optimising KPI performance
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases
  • Selling the story, not the discount, and demonstrating a passion for product through in-depth knowledge and tasting events
  • Taking ownership of wine knowledge and constantly learning about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling
  • Ensuring the physical appearance and maintenance of the store, both internally and externally

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A can-do attitude and a passion for learning and development
  • A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points
