Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Analyst to join our team at CHAMP Cargosystems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for specifying software development requirements to meet the strategic, financial, and operational needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of air cargo management systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Provide technical and product expertise to support the development team during development.
  • Lead projects from inception to go-live, working closely with analysts and development teams.
  • Support and mentor junior business analysts and development team members.
  • Analyze requirements and define suitable solutions for application enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, ensuring customer and stakeholder approval prior to technical development.
  • Define test cases and provide business acceptance for developments and fixes.
  • Create business process workflows, user interface designs, and mock-ups to mimic user interaction with digital sites.
  • Provide business and functional support to the technical team during development and testing.
  • Investigate operational problems, identify causes, and support testing and implementation of corrections.
  • Build and maintain test libraries to support manual and automated regression testing.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience working in the air cargo domain.
  • Expert-level knowledge of air cargo management systems and workflows.
  • Knowledge of industry inter-system message formats, rules, and applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and reporting applications.
  • Knowledge of common PC software and external interfacing systems.
  • Systematic approach to handling problems under pressure as part of a small team.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with integration testing of APIs using tools like Swagger, Postman.
  • Knowledge of creation of API documentation using YAML specifications.
  • Creatively analytical thinkers who can backup ideas with research.
  • Team players who are comfortable collaborating with graphic designers, web architects, and clients.
  • Knowledge of prototyping and wireframing tools.
  • Experience with Agile software development, Scrum methodology, and user story creation.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Management.
  • Sound experience in functional analysis and support of systems.
