Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Support Professional to join our team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents in Chorleywood and Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
About the Role
As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing daily living support, companionship, and following individual care plans. You will work closely with residents to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that each person receives tailored care and attention.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with food and drink
- Assist with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Encourage independence and participation in activities
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience caring for older adults, preferably in a healthcare setting
- A 'can-do' approach and excellent communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Empathy and compassion when dealing with vulnerable individuals
