Role Overview:
  We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Lead to join our dynamic team at dnata Travel Group. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for producing management accounts, including supporting activities and schedules. This role offers a unique blend of financial expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.

About the Role:
  Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager (CIMA, ACCA, or AAT) to lead our management accounts team in preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis of monthly costs, and ad hoc analysis. The successful candidate will also support the development needs of three direct reports and drive a continuous improvement culture.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management accounts team in preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and analysis of monthly costs.
  • Support the production of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts, tax returns, and supporting schedules.
  • Drive a continuous improvement culture within the team.
  • Support the development needs of three direct reports.


Requirements:
  Minimum Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a busy, dynamic finance department within a diverse team.
  • Prior management experience.
  • A proven track record of producing accurate management accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build great working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

  Desirable:
  • Experience working within a high volume business.
  • The ability to influence and support colleague development.
  • Travel industry experience.


About Us:

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
