Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our team at Academics. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality science lessons across key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a passion for science and curiosity about the natural world.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in school events and professional development.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5.
  • Hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and ability to teach engaging Science lessons using your own initiative.
  • Current Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply for a new one through Academics.
