We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physics Teacher to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Whitstable. As a Physics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in one of the most fascinating subjects within the sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the national curriculum, fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Support students in their academic journey, helping them to prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, and collaborating with other teachers and staff members to ensure the best learning outcomes.
- Participate in department meetings, extra-curricular activities, and school events, contributing to the overall success of the school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the KS3, KS4, and KS5 Physics curriculum.
- A degree in Physics or a related field, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students, with a commitment to continued professional development.
- An enhanced DBS check, or a willingness to obtain one, to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
