Financial Accountant

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team, with a strong background in complex accounting and experience working within large corporate structures.
This is a hybrid working opportunity, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, allowing for a great work-life balance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate monthly and quarterly results, delivering financial information for external reporting requirements, and performing month-end balance sheet analysis and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing accurate financial information to meet group timescales and accounting policy requirements
- Delivering financial information for external reporting purposes
- Month-end balance sheet analysis and reporting
- Improving internal efficiencies and quality of output through process improvement and collaboration with internal and external teams
- Focusing on automation and digitisation to improve existing processes
The ideal candidate will have:
- A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.)
- Experience of working in complex accounting environments and within large corporate structures
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, delivering to deadlines
