We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Consultant to join our team in Edinburgh, UK. As a key member of our Cyber Security Consulting Team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and effective cyber security and resilience support to various customer delivery scenarios.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced IT professionals to identify and mitigate potential security risks, analyze security threats, and develop solutions to protect our customers' systems and data. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to work on some of the UK's leading edge cyber security projects, that will have a direct impact on protecting the UK now and in the future.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Graduate Scheme as a Cyber Security Consultant, where you will engage with challenging and exciting project work and deliver innovative business or technical solutions as part of a team of subject matter experts. You will report to a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, with tasking guided by our Head of Consulting, and develop your skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive and effective cyber security and resilience support to various customer delivery scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks, analyze security threats, and develop solutions to protect our customers' systems and data.
  • Work alongside experienced IT professionals to deliver innovative business or technical solutions as part of a team of subject matter experts.
  • Report to a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, with tasking guided by our Head of Consulting.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of a 2:2 Bachelors/Integrated Master's degree, or a higher degree, such as an MSc or PhD in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering. A passion for cyber security and a keen interest in IT are essential. Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills are also required. In addition, high levels of IT competency (Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the ability to demonstrate a positive flexible attitude are necessary.
