Dermatology Specialist with a Focus on Community Care

Head Medical seeks a skilled Dermatology Consultant to join our team at this esteemed trust. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic professional to make a lasting impact in the specialty of Dermatology and contribute to the future growth of our service.
About the RoleThis challenging position involves providing expert dermatology services for both inpatient and outpatient needs, ensuring the smooth functioning of the department. As part of this role, you will be expected to attend 5-6 outpatient clinics weekly, which may include general clinics, surgical lists, telemedicine sessions, and special interest clinics. The ability to adapt these clinics as needed will be discussed during the selection process.
- Salary: £93,666 - £126,281

Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level dermatology services for inpatients and outpatients
- Participate in daytime on-call cover, supported by two specialty trainees
- Develop and maintain a special interest that benefits the department
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Current GMC registration and license to practice
- MRCP certification and entry on the GMC specialist register for Dermatology or within 6 months of CCT date
- Experience working in or setting up a clinical decision unit service
