Food Service Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Food on Campus Chef to join our team at the University of Brighton. As a key member of our student operations and support team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality food service to our diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative food concepts and menus that meet the evolving tastes and dietary needs of our students.
- Collaborate with our catering team to ensure seamless food service operations across our campuses.
- Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies to support our cooked-to-order and grab-and-go offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our students.
- Work closely with our student union and student services teams to understand student needs and preferences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a university or higher education setting.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food trends and innovations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
