">As a Special Educational Support Worker at Academics Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a UK secondary school environment.
About the Role
">This rewarding position involves providing individualized support to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, promoting their academic and personal development. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to students with varying SEN, including learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities
">- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Assist students with daily tasks, such as managing timetables and organizing materials
- Help students to develop essential life skills, including independence and self-confidence
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK secondary school environment
- Experience working with students with SEN and learning difficulties
- Enhanced DBS clearance or a willingness to apply for one
