We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Neurological Rehabilitation Team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention for clients with complex and contentious mental health conditions or learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, adjusting and refining as required, in collaboration with clients and their carers.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide advice on psychological aspects of risk management.
- Lead on multi-disciplinary training and development, service audit, and evaluation.
- Exercise supervisory responsibility for other psychological therapists.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialised areas of psychological practice.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Registration with BPS.
- Experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist within the designated service, including a wide variety of client groups and care settings.
