Senior Manager, Finance Transformation Business Consulting

EY is seeking a Senior Manager with a strong delivery track record in Finance Transformation to join our Finance Business Consulting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading large-scale Finance Transformation programs across the Financial Services market, leveraging business and technology-based solutions to deliver outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design workshops and understand client business requirements, translating them into leading practice process and business design
  • Implement Business Readiness and Change Management to support clients in achieving Go Live and Business as Usual (BAU)
  • Foster a culture of innovation, implementing new and improved ways of working, delivery models, and technological advancements
  • Develop and nurture strong internal and external networks for long-term relationships
  • Train, coach, and supervise junior employees, monitoring their availability, chargeability, and supporting their development
  • Take responsibility for the financial management of client engagements
  • Lead business development activities to identify and research opportunities on new and existing clients, leading proposals and bid teams, and managing the development and delivery of high-quality proposals
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Finance Transformation, including Business Design, Organization Design, Process & Controls, and strategies for Change Management & Business Readiness
  • Experience in delivering related projects, with a strong delivery track record in Finance Transformation
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of commitment, ability to handle pressure, and demonstrate leadership and problem-solving abilities in complex financial environments
  • Familiarity with Finance Technology applications, commitment to quality delivery, and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior consulting experience, ideally in a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm
  • Prior experience delivering large-scale Finance Transformation programs within Financial Services, preferably in Banking & Capital Markets
  • Business Architect/Lead on Finance Transformations, delivering business-focused aspects of a client's Target Operating Model - Organization Design (People), Process & Controls, Working Day Timetable, Change Management, Training, and Business Readiness
  • Understanding of how Finance Technology is used to solve client business problems, working with technology partners to support the design and implementation of various technology solutions
