About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare and cook high-quality dishes to specification.
  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and hygienic, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Participate in menu planning and development to ensure that dishes are appealing and meet customer expectations.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
