About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge in Totnes. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to ensure high standards of food quality and service.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen targets and objectives.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
