Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Solent NHS Trust. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to individuals with acquired brain injuries.

Main Responsibilities

Actively promote recovery-focussed care with patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve set goals.

Support patients with their rehabilitation and recovery, respecting their individual needs and rights.

Facilitate and lead patient-focus groups and activities, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Use approved conflict resolution and management of aggression techniques to de-escalate challenging situations.

Accurately assess, describe, and record observations on patients' mental and physical state, escalating concerns as necessary.
