We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Signal Maintainer to join our team as a Team Leader in Crewe. In this role, you will lead a small team providing daily support and guidance to ensure safe working practices. You will also be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, and implementing efficient work processes.
The salary for this position is £53,824 as a starting base, but with overtime, shift allowances, and on-call payments, your total remuneration will be significantly higher. This includes generous pension scheme, annual leave, and other benefits that make this an attractive proposition for experienced signal maintainers looking to take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of signal maintenance personnel.
- Ensure safe working practices and high-quality service delivery.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Requirements:
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) ticket and other relevant track tickets.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SMTH qualification and full IRSE licence.
- Proven experience working in railway signalling maintenance.
