Academic Support Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 'Good' Ofsted-rated 2 Form Entry School as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support the development of pupils, both academically and socially, in a Year 6 primary class.
The role involves assisting in the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for students. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required to work effectively with children and teachers. Previous experience of working with young people in a school setting would be advantageous.
Job Specifications:
- Assist in the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for students in primary classes
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that all children have access to a high quality learning experience
- Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Support the development of pupils, both academically and socially
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with children in Year 6
- Previous experience of working with young people in a school setting would be advantageous
