Job Summary:

Reed Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the electronics manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of complex printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough fault finding to component level on a variety of products, including analogue and digital circuits.
  • Test assembled PCBs to functional test specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Interpret schematic and circuit drawings to identify potential issues and optimize test procedures.
  • Develop and maintain test specifications and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and quality control metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • HNC in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with In-Circuit Test (ICT) and XJTAG desirable.
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW advantageous.
  • Understanding of quality standards and build practices, including IPC and 5S.
