Job Description: Street Triage Practitioner

We seek a dedicated Street Triage Practitioner to help individuals experiencing mental health crises within Cheshire West. Working closely with the local police force, this specialist will conduct thorough assessments and collaborate on effective interventions.

This role requires creativity, empathy, and strong communication skills to connect with service users and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services and promoting innovative solutions within our organization.

Requirements:
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse)
  • Prior Experience and Training:
    • Substantial experience working in various mental health settings
    • Multi-disciplinary working knowledge and expertise
  • Expertise and Knowledge:
    • Sensitivity to diversity and equal opportunities principles
    • Understanding of ongoing staff development requirements
    • Awareness of interconnections between physical and mental health
