Job Summary:

Planet Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Stores Controller to join our client's team in Cowley, Oxfordshire. As a key member of the stores team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the storage and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing valuable insights to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an engineering environment, with basic knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Background in a stores/warehousing department or stock control, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, databases, and other relevant software tools.
  • A strong health and safety approach, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance.
