About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of risk and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Annual Risk and Compliance Monitoring Programme, ensuring effective leadership and consultation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FCA and Data Protection.
  • Oversee compliance 'sign-offs' and regulatory breaches.
  • Prepare and complete FCA regulatory returns accurately and on time.
  • Develop and implement compliance standards and processes.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver training and competence plans to ensure high-quality reviews.
  • Support the business in continuously improving the regulatory control environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience within the UK Insurance Industry.
  • Experienced within a similar Risk and Compliance based role.
  • Recognised industry and/or professional Level 3 Qualification.
  • Commitment to work towards the ICO Advanced Certificate in Compliance.
  • Strong consultative approach to business relationship management.
  • Knowledge of FCA reporting via the online Connect and RegData system.
  • Knowledge of the ICO, FSCS, and other relevant regulatory or legislative requirements.
