About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Care Worker to join our team at Greenacre School, a leading special school in the UK. As a Pastoral Care Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and structured environment for our pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-call support to pupils at times of crisis, promoting self-regulation and helping them settle and learn.
  • Develop and deliver interventions, coaching conversations, and therapeutic activities to support pupils' long-term development.
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and teachers to provide general support in the classroom.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a school or similar setting, preferably with children/young people with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
  • NVQ L3 qualification or working towards.
