Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to lead a team of maintenance engineers at our manufacturing facility in Wellingborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes, and for leading a team of maintenance engineers to achieve this goal.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of maintenance engineers to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and processes
  • Coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing technical guidance and support to maintenance engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our maintenance operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, ideally with team lead experience
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with a similar type of equipment and processes
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Qualifications in a maintenance-related discipline, such as NVQ Level 3 or higher
