Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure division. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a full suite of Building Surveying services to our clients in various sectors, including education, local authorities, healthcare, central government, and infrastructure projects.
{"h3": "Key Responsibilities"}- Manage and provide a range of building surveying and project management duties across multiple projects in different sectors.
- Assist in the development of new and repeat business across all sectors.
- Manage client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
- Support senior managers in the day-to-day running of the business, including project management and contract administration duties for larger projects, condition and measured surveys, designing and implementing small to medium-sized projects, due diligence surveys, and framework management.
- Apply standard forms of building contracts, such as JCT and NEC, and stay up-to-date with industry issues and best practices.
- Deliver pre- and post-contract project management services, and have experience in sectors including education, local authorities, healthcare, central government, and infrastructure projects.
- Undertake building surveys, produce professional reports and specifications, and understand the principles of quality, safety, and the environment in project management.
- BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
- Full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Good all-round surveying experience, including pre- and post-contract project management responsibilities.
- Excellent team working skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to travel as required, and willingness to mentor APC graduates.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM systems is an advantage.
- Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
