About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Allied and Clinical Healthcare Recruitment. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to individuals with mental health conditions in a hospital or clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient mental health status, including risk assessments and care planning.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists or healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatment and interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement holistic care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Requirements
  • Valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working as an RMN in a psychiatric or mental health setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and colleagues.
