Mechanical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team in Tewkesbury. As a key member of our aerospace industry team, you will design, develop, and qualify hydraulic components for commercial and military aircraft.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in mechanical and hydraulic system design and development.
The estimated salary for this position is £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, based on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydraulic components for aircraft
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to support tooling development and procurement
- Conduct performance calculations using defined methods
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles
- Experience in mechanical and hydraulic system design and development
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Mathcad Prime
