Aerospace Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Omega Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with significant experience in the aerospace industry. You will be working on high-profile projects, analyzing production data to identify improvement opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

About the Role

  • Design and develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
  • Support sustainment team to identify issues across software, electronics, and hydraulics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Significant experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic principles
  • Experience in developing assembly and test processes and tooling designs
  • Knowledge of obsolescence management processes
  • Six Sigma trained or equivalent
  • Data analysis skills
