We are seeking an accomplished educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust in Cheshire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons across KS4 and KS5.

Job Role
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires secondary students to achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to ensure all students receive quality academic support.
  • Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings.
  • Implement effective safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.
  • Develop and maintain a well-organized and safe learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • Degree in a relevant field or subject of specialism.
  • A recognized teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with parents, staff, and students.
  • Solid knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class.
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives.

The salary for this position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale. We estimate the annual salary to be approximately £50,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.
