Senior Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Urgent Community Response/Virtual ward Service for a Senior Nurse, 32 hrs per week, 12 month fixed term contract.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess patients within a crisis situation and offer appropriate nursing assessment intervention, and review to meet their needs using advanced clinical assessment skills incorporating non-medical prescribing.
- Develop and deliver educational/training programmes and act as a specialist resource for staff and colleagues to improve standards and quality of care.
- Monitor and improve standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence-based practice, learning and development and the provision of skilled clinical leadership.
- 1st Level Registered Nurse
- Degree qualification or experience to demonstrate level of working
- Urgent care / emergency room experience or educational qualification
- Prescribing Qualification NMP V300 or ability to work towards
- Advanced Clinical Assessment Skills qualification at Level 7 or experience to demonstrate level of working
