Senior Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Senior Nurse (General) at one of our care homes. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team
- Assess the needs of new residents and develop individual care plans
- Implement safeguarding policies and administer medicines in line with NMC regulations
- Support and mentor junior nurses to develop their clinical skills
- Contribute to the development of care home policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification. You will also need to have experience of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices. We are looking for a natural leader and problem solver who has worked with older people and has experience of supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
