About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Sosandar, a leading online fashion brand. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing high-quality footwear and accessories that meet our brand's aesthetic and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our supply base to build a commercial range of footwear and accessories that reflect our brand's style and appeal to our target market.
  • Use your analytical skills to identify opportunities and risks, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Monitor sales data to ensure our footwear range is aligned with our clothing departments and identify opportunities to enhance our product offerings.
  • Manage the critical path to ensure timely delivery of our range and improve category bought-in margin through renegotiation and re-sourcing with our supply base.
  • Source, select, develop, and negotiate with suppliers to deliver the right products at the right time.
  • Maximize best-sellers by developing additional styles that broaden our range and reduce risk buying.
  • Identify product opportunities by reviewing the competition and inspirational brands.
  • Complete buying trips as needed within the UK and internationally.
  • Present to our management team on a regular basis, ensuring clear and concise communication.
Requirements
  • A commercial fashion eye with the ability to understand our brand's aesthetics, customers, and competitors.
  • Experience in trading an e-commerce department to maximize sales.
  • The ability to problem-solve under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to adapt to new ways of working and share ideas to improve processes.
  • Strong communication skills to enable effective working relationships with all departments and levels.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Understanding of the test and repeat e-commerce buying model.
  • Experience buying for high-street footwear brands.
