Deputy Nursing Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team at Springfield Care Home in Ilford. As a Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise and develop the skills of clinical staff, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent care to our residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Ensure that junior staff are properly trained and supported, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Identify and resolve potential complaints and issues before they become a problem for our residents or the home.
- Provide leadership and coaching to nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
- Manage conflict resolution and workplace disputes, ensuring a fair and respectful environment for all staff.
- Coordinate activities for nurses in related fields, sharing information and best practices to improve care delivery.
- A registered nurse with experience of managing a team.
- At least two years' experience as a senior nurse, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- Experience of quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
- Experience of working in the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing nursing homes.
- Driven and motivated, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
- An energetic, committed, and approachable manager, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
