Job Title: Deputy Manager in Nursing Home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a leading care home in Camden, London. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing leadership and support to our nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Service Manager in providing leadership and guidance to staff to deliver exceptional care and services.
  • Lead the nursing teams to provide person-centered care and support, promoting dignity, privacy, safety, and independence for all residents.
  • Support the Service Manager in managing resources effectively, including those impacting financial performance and occupancy levels.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the transitional unit and liaise with external health professionals.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision within the service.
  • Be accountable for infection control implementation and audit throughout the service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse in a nursing home setting.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
  • Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
