About the Role

Themis Recruit is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team as a Senior Associate. As a key member of our Clinical Negligence department, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse caseload of high-value medical negligence claims, providing expert legal guidance and representation, and leading and mentoring a team of solicitors and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of high-value and complex clinical negligence claims, emphasizing serious injuries.
  • Client Representation: Offer expert legal guidance and representation throughout the claims process.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of solicitors and support staff, providing invaluable guidance and support.
  • Business Development: Drive strategic business development and marketing initiatives to expand our client base and bolster our reputation in clinical negligence law.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, medical professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep abreast of developments in clinical negligence law and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 10 years PQE in clinical negligence law.
  • Experience: Proven track record in handling high-value medical negligence claims from inception to conclusion.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a team, offering mentorship and guidance.
  • Business Acumen: Strong aptitude for business development and marketing, with a history of client base expansion.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Commitment: Dedication to delivering top-quality legal services and securing optimal outcomes for clients.
