Internal Sales Person

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Person to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As an Internal Sales Person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our key customers, managing a live portfolio of current customers, and proactively targeting and developing new customers into profitable accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to key customers over the phone, face-to-face in branch, or via email to drive customer loyalty.
  • Manage a live portfolio of current customers while proactively targeting and developing new customers into profitable accounts.
  • Support the wider branch team, serving on the Trade Counter and picking and packing products in our warehouse to ensure customers' orders are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a highly competitive or target-driven customer-focused role (B2B, B2C, retail/hospitality).
  • Electrical product knowledge is advantageous.
  • A flexible approach and an ability to work under pressure.
  • An ability to recognize sales opportunities.
What We Offer:
  • Great salary and performance-based bonus scheme.
  • Contracted to 40 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday – shifts between 07:00 – 17:00.
