Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Therapeutic Social Worker to join our team. As a Specialist Therapeutic Social Worker, you will work with families involved in complex and sometimes intractable private law proceedings, undertaking reports for the Family Court.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with high conflict complex family cases where children may present as resistant to contact with a parent following separation
  • Knowledge of therapeutic methodologies and ability to produce high-level analytical reports using research and case law to make recommendations
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on own initiative to a very high standard
  • Anti-discriminatory and ethical approach to working with all clients

Requirements

  • DIPHE/MA in social work or equivalent
  • Recent relevant experience in working with high conflict complex family cases
  • Enhanced DBS check and full driving license
  • Excellent use of English, written and spoken
